Time To Start Writing.

Ironically I am on a plane, flying West to Los Angeles from Boston. After much thought and pondering I have seen what should have been clear for some time now and that’s the only thing preventing me from taking this journey, and following in my father’s footsteps is me.

And I am not going to stop myself.

So I will start writing more, I will start planning more and I will get ready to head to Hong Kong in the fall, I need to think about the trip. So here’s a question.

Should I stay offline for the time of the journey or is that too method actorish? Will I see more, feel more, learn more if I am offline?

Let me know what you think.

  1. It may sound completely cliche, but you should do what is in your heart. Your father’s journey was remote and isolated, no? If you are to follow in his footsteps, do not mistake his journey for your own. You probably will see more and feel more if you are not so connected to the rest of the world. But it is a different time, and you have a different purpose. Be clear about the journey you are beginning and its purpose, and you will figure out if you should become the soulful method actor or the logical, connected wordsmith.
